A fantastic weekend of Roman re-enactment awaits you at Caerleon Amphitheatre on 27 and 28 August. Come and be part of it!
The Amphitheatre will echo to the sound of marching feet as the soldier’s display the weapons that made the Roman army the best fighting force on earth. Watch as the horses are put through their paces in the arena.

On the second Saturday in September, every year since 1844, Usk Farmers’ Club have held the Usk Show to celebrate the very best of Monmouthshire farming and rural life. Now in its 170th year its popularity is second-to-none and it has become one of the biggest one-day agricultural shows in the whole of the UK.

Newport Medieval Ship Open Day's

The Newport Medieval Ship was discovered on the banks of the River Usk in 2002. The ship was moved to a warehouse in the Maesglas Industrial Estate.
